The American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event to help fight against breast cancer unites nearly 300 communities to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness, and fund the fight through a noncompetitive 3-mile walk.

Relay For Life

The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to end cancer, uniting communities across the globe to fight back against the disease. Teams camp out at local schools, parks, or fairgrounds and take turns walking or running around a track or path.

Schools vs Cancer

The Schools vs Cancer program brings cancer prevention education to schools in a fun way and allows students to help save lives from cancer.  The program’s activities and educational materials teach children and their families how to make healthy choices about nutrition, physical activity, and sun safety.

Community Health Workers Conference

On April 13, 2018, the American Cancer Society and Kohl’s hosted the 8th Annual Cancer Conference for Community Health Workers at the Italian Conference Center. Participants had the opportunity to learn new information and skills to educate the community about cancer prevention and screenings.
