What inspired you to make a career change into this field?

I come from a visual background and anything that can be communicated visually has always interested me. Naturally, UI and design was a very natural part of that. So for me, it feels more of an added skill to my palette and a natural shift into design.

What did you enjoy most about the CareerFoundry UI Design Program?

I liked that I had a mentor that I was able to communicate well with and receive professional feedback for the work I put out. This allowed me to grow and learn better.

What did you enjoy about creating your CareerFoundry portfolio project?

I really enjoyed that I was able to bring in my illustrative and visual skills, and combine those with my newly acquired skills. I liked that I was able to vary the types of projects to present in my portfolio. I also enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment after the effort I put in!

With regards to your new career and skills, what are your hopes for the future?

I’m hoping to grow as a designer and broaden my understanding and skills in visual things. I hope to work together with amazing people.
